David Hagberg is a Sarasota-based author of more than 70 novels, many of which have been published under various pseudonyms. A native Minnesotan, Hagberg joined the Air Force and was trained as a cryptographer. He studied physics, mathematics and philosophy at the University of Maryland, and began writing as a cub reporter on the Duluth Herald and The News-Tribune and later as a news desk editor for the Associated Press.
